Today we worked on a packet on OPEC and we discussed some questions about the gas prices.

Today we picked partners to work on something that will replace the essay on the test. We were assigned a country and we then have to answer four essential questions. They had to deal with the government of the country, human rights and a few other things. For each question we need to find an article on New York Times (nowhere else) and then explain it. This is all do tomorrow at the end of the class, but we have the whole class to work on it. On Thursday, after the test you and your partner will give a 2 to 4 minute presentation using one slide on googledoc presentation.

In class today we went over some review questions for the test on Friday. We then worked on our country project for the rest of the period. That project is due Thursday with a one slide presentation ready to show to the class. The geography quiz is also tomorrow and a good resource to study would be the map of the Middle East where we had to fill in the countries, oceans, and rivers.
